Fusion consultants are able to significantly increase productivity. In one factory, three different methods were used to cut a piece of fabric. The first technique used required a total of nine passes through a machine to produce a satisfactory cut. The next technique examined required four passes to produce the same cut. The last technique only required two passes to produce a cut identical to the first two. All factory employees were trained to use the last technique, leading to a 200% improvement in efficiency.
