May 2011 – Speaking Engagement at Fashion Sustainability Conference

  •  Managing Director Parker Fairfield speaks on a panel entitled ‘The Business of Sustainability,’ a discussion focused on how the adoption of more environmental and sustainable practices can positively impact businesses in the textile and apparel industry. The panel highlighted a need for transparency: businesses have a responsibility to adopt sustainable processes as well as educate their customers so environmentally-friendly practices can be implemented at all levels of the supply chain. September 2010 – Australian Radio: Chinese Workers Docile No More

  • A seven minute radio news report featuring Fusion's Parker Fairfield, Handshake's Dee Lee, and Alexandra Harney. Alexandra, Dee and Parker describe the existing state of Chinese workers – and how contrary to popular statements, the younger workers are not appeased with pay increases.

January 2010 – Developing Youth Leadership in Guangzhou

  • Managing Director Parker Fairfield assists in organizing a youth leadership conference through the international student-led leadership organization, AISEC. The event brought together entrepreneurs and 140 AIESEC student leaders from 20 top universities in Mainland China. The purpose of this initiative was to connect entrepreneurs with our student leaders to bring more external perspectives and helping them relate to AIESEC as a business.
